About the Training

Our 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training is designed to support students both educationally and personally throughout the journey of becoming a yoga teacher. Rooted in traditional Hatha Yoga, this program blends philosophy, movement, breathwork, anatomy, meditation, and modern nervous system-informed teaching approaches to create a training experience that is both grounded and supportive.

We recognize that many students are balancing work, family, school, parenting, and life responsibilities while completing their training. Because of this, our program is intentionally structured in a way that supports sustainable learning rather than overwhelm. Our modules and weekends are paced to allow students time for integration, reflection, practice, and rest.

At Divine Aura Yoga School, we believe students learn best when they feel safe, supported, and connected. Rather than creating a high-pressure environment rooted in perfection, we focus on helping students build confidence gradually through repetition, experience, discussion, and practice teaching.

Throughout the training, students will move through modules including:

  • Traditional Hatha Yoga foundations

  • Yoga philosophy and history

  • The Eight Limbs of Yoga

  • Asana breakdown and alignment

  • Modifications and accessible teaching

  • Anatomy and biomechanics

  • Breathwork and pranayama

  • Meditation and mindfulness

  • Sequencing and class planning

  • Intelligent transitions and cueing

  • Nervous system-informed teaching

  • Trauma-aware language and inclusive practices

  • Chakras, koshas, nadis, and subtle body studies

  • Practice teaching and constructive feedback

  • Hands-on adjustments and ethical considerations

  • Holding space and developing your authentic teaching voice

Our weekends are designed to create both education and experience. Students are encouraged to ask questions, participate in discussion, reflect through journaling, and explore yoga beyond the physical practice.

This training is open to aspiring yoga teachers, wellness practitioners, movement educators, or anyone wanting to deepen their understanding of yoga and themselves. You do not need to be advanced, flexible, or experienced to begin.

By the end of the training, students will have completed the educational requirements for a 200-Hour Yoga Alliance recognized certification while also developing the confidence, knowledge, and self-awareness needed to begin teaching from an authentic and embodied place.
